Another great day of painting in my studio. I start with a turpentine wash, let it dry for a few hours and then begin to add color and form. My still life is set up on the table to my right. I control the light on the set up with a three sided presentation board that is easily adjusted for depth and width of my desired composition. I use directional lighting to control shadow and light.
