New Gallery

Texas Beautiful , along with several of my other paintings, is now hanging in my new gallery. I have recently partnered with Carriage House Galley of Artists off Main Street in Boerne, Texas. We have nine wonderful artists showing in this gallery and Boerne is a wonderful town to enjoy while shopping for that special piece of art. Join us every 2nd Saturday of the month for the ultimate weeknd art experience when galleries and shops invite you to special openings and receptions from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. The event is free and while you browse you can enjoy wine and great food offered at each location. Texas Beautiful

I am back to painting landscapes for awhile. Maybe the long awaited rains inspired this one. The Texas Hill Country is so beautiful all year round and I especially enjoy the colors of spring.

I am looking forward to the fall of the year but we sure had some good times this summer. The colors in this painting remind me of how desperate we Texans were for a break in the heat.

Rosita's Bridge Riverwalk San Antonio

I can't help myself... I have to paint scenes of the River Walk in downtown San Antonio. I love San Antonio and especially the River Walk during the holiday season. It is romantic and always fun.

Well, Picasa went crazy and excluded my photo of this painting so I have deleted that post and am posting again ...
I completed this painting a couple of days ago and included books by some of my favorite authors, Eckhart Tolle, C.S. Lewis and Patsy Clairmont, books gifted to me by those dearest to me. And two wine glasses just in case one of my "dears" shows up to share in the stillness. Salute!
